Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria), which contains high levels of protein, antioxidants, and other nutrients. It has numerous health benefits and it is good for preventing skin infections, allergies, and rashes. It is also good for the skin and hair. It eliminates toxins from the skin, improves skin metabolism, cell regeneration and skin healing. It further helps to prevent Candida bacteria overgrowth that can cause acne breakouts. It is rich in vital nutrients which are essential to maintaining a healthy hair and skin. It is rich in GLA (gamma linolenic acid) which helps in fighting inflammation. It beautifies the skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin’s elasticity. The detoxifying effects of spirulina help to reduce dark circles and dark spots on the skin.
